Today’s Hasbro panel showcased additional stores exclusives as well as some Fall 2010 figures!  (Training Duke, Shadow Tracker, and Beach-Head).  Also posted are pics of Snow Job, Zartan, and Arctic Storm Shadow.   Also (because Werecat demanded it), I’ve added some more vehicle pics to the 2009 Convention page.

Joe Con: Pictures from Thursday night have been posted.

2009 Collector's Convention

2009 Collector's Convention

I’ve uploaded images of the display cases containing all of the exclusives to the 2009 Convention page.  Images include the 12″ exclusive set, the 3.75″ weapons set, as well as the previously posted International souvenir figures.

The doors “officially” open today and we’ll start to see all sorts of new product at the Hasbro panel at 1:00pm CST today.

“And now I know…” So, what’s the other half? This t-shirt has the answer!

I just had an interesting item hit my “inbox” this morning that I felt like sharing.

Robb Irrgang and Mike Essl, the pair that are collectively known at “Nerduo”, have taken a stab at answering the age old question: “What’s the other half of the battle?”  Their dynamic fan-produced t-shirt is sure to get a knowing smile for any Joe fan or pop culture afficiando who glances at it.

Don’t just take my word for it– check out the announcement and ordering page  to get one of your very own!

Other new product has been revealed as the very popular “Battle Stations” from back in  the vintage days.  Some details are fuzzy, but the following battle stations were visible:

  • Surveillance Port (with movie themed Tele-Viper)
  • LAW (that appears to come with Tripwire)
  • MMS in the crimson “SMS” color scheme (that appears to come with Scrap Iron)
  • Outpost Defender (that appears to come with Roadblock…a Roadblock with the Resolute head sculpt!)

Other items, most of which we’ve seen already, included:

  • Target Exclusive RHINO w/ Rampage
  • “Then and Now” Rockslide 2-Pack with Snow Job
  • “Attack on the Pit” 5-Pack

Other mysterious items were floating around as well, like an apparent repaint or variant of “The Doctor” in a white labcoat.

Keep in mind this information is all second hand with no image verification as of yet, but it at least gives us something to go by as we wait for the big reveal on Thursday!

One small problem with that: I’m a life-long Joe fan.
