That’s right, true believers! JBL is actually posting a review of Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins, the film that dares to retell the cinematic origin of the the Joe’s most enigmatic team member from when it was first presented in 2009. Our resident hack admin was able to go and catch a Thursday night screening of the film a week and a half ago as our local theater has finally reopened.
Did this film take the character to new heights? Was our trusty reviewed wow’ed to such an extent that it replaced Big Trouble in Little China as one of his favorite films?
Check out the review for yourself and find out one Joe fan’s opinion…
It’s been forever since I’ve written a review for JBL. However, that hasn’t stopped me from still reading reviews of Joe products both old and new. As such, I’ve been LOVING the “Many Faces Of…” series that Zed has been posting over at ZedsJoeSite.com. Sure, I may not always agree with his ratings but I still enjoy seeing such a comprehensive look at the many versions of a single character that Hasbro has inundated fans and collectors since the relaunch of G.I. Joe back in 2000.
It seemed a no-brainer that both Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow would be featured given the fact that they seem to have a new version released every third Thursday of the month. However, I was extremely pleased to see that Zed takes on Cobra’s premiere saboteur in his latest installment!
But….why? Oh! Alexx has some stuff he hasn’t reviewed yet. Nothing new, yet, but some have suggested that I get my butt back in gear and finish off the figures I bought but never reviewed, so come on in and take a look at the Nano-Viper!
