2011 G.I. Joe Collector’s Club figure to be Dial-Tone?
According to a news article posted over at The Terrordrome, the latest issue of the G.I. Joe Collector’s Club newsletter states that a 25th Anniversary styled Dial-Tone will be the 2011 club exclusive figure. No other details are available except that the figure will feature an entirely new head sculpt.
Let the speculation begin on which existing parts will be used to bring classic Dial-Tone forward the new style.

Reviews of the set were mixed upon its release. Some fans praised it as an innovative play and display environment. Others compared it to a giant land boat. Regardless, $20.00 + shipping nets fans an exclusive Dennis Quaid General Hawk figure, a coffee mug, and a card board ping pong table at the bare minimum. Shipping seems to be estimated at $10.42 by default which means that for $30.40, the Pit could be yours.

I don’t know about most fans out there but I was ecstatic when IDW continued the reprints that Marvel started several years ago.
