Updated information about the SDCC panel

SDCC LogoWe’ve received some updated information about the upcoming G.I. Joe panel to be held at the San Diego ComicCon:

JOIN US FOR HASBRO’S G.I. JOE PANEL
Date: Thursday, July 24, 2008
Time: 11:30am – 12:30pm

As Hasbro ramps up for the summer 2009 blockbuster movie release of G.I. Joe from Paramount Pictures, film producers Lorenzo Di Bonventura and Brian Goldner, also Hasbro’s CEO, will be joined by writer Stuart Beattie and creative consultant Larry Hama to discuss how they are bringing the legendary G.I. Joe vs. Cobra saga and its characters to life for fans around the world.  Also, Aaron Archer (Hasbro Design), Michelino Paolino (Hasbro Design), Michael Ritchie (Hasbro Marketing), and producer Joaquim Dos Santos discuss the recently announced “G.I. Joe: Resolute,” animated online series.

G4TV – Cobra Commander Convention appearance!

GI Joe Review: Episode 16 – now available!

The folks at GIJoe review has posted the latest installment in their ongoing podcast series. Episode 16 discusses the 2008 Collector’s Convention in Dallas, TX and helps to bring the experience home for those who were unable to attend.

Previews of the Headhunter Guard and Headhunter Stormtroopers figures and filecards have been posted. The file card for the exclusive B. A. T. was also uploaded with the figure to follow on Monday!

SDCC 2008: Combat Heroes are coming!

combatheroes.gifThe GIJoe Collector’s Club has revealed the second San Diego Comic Con exclusive figure– and it’s the start of a whole new line!

Modelled after the highly-successful “Robot Heroes”, “Adventure Heroes”, and “Super Hero Squad” series from Hasbro, GIJoe will be the next property to be given the “PVC treatment” with the line to hit stores sometime in late 2008/ early 2009.

2008 Convention Headhunter Stormtrooper REVEALED!

The “muscle” of the Headman’s organization, the Headhunter Stormtroopers are a force to be reckoned with.  Clad in their imposing spiked armor and armed with heavy machine guns and knives, these shock troops are ready to cut a path through any GIJoe SWAT unit they encounter!
