Ebay seller ws_toys continues the parade of “leaked” figure from the forthcoming GIJoe motion picture. This time it’s a carded version of the movie Cobra Commander figure. WARNING– clicking the link will most likely spoil certain aspects of the film.
This marks the first time a full-body version of this design has been seen outside of the leaked Combat Heroes pictures.
EBay seller ws_toys has listed the upcoming single pack version of Hawk on eBay. The latest in a series of “leaked figures” hitting the popular auction site, this version of General Hawk differs significantly from the figure that will be included with the forthcoming PITT vehicle/playset.

Fans of the Sunbow animated series can rejoice– the classic GIJoe animated series returns to DVD on July 21, 2009!

G.I. Joe – A Real American Hero: Season 1, Part 1 is going to be available as a 4-DVD set, running approximately 700 minutes, starting on July 21st. That’s a wee bit after the 4th of July celebration, but a better schedule for tying it in with the new film. Equipped with a removeable helmet, spring-loaded launcher, and rifle this figure represents Specialist Weems in the dramatic Paris chase sequence shown in debut trailer for the forthcoming motion picture.

The closer the release date for the figures approaches the more products are going to leak out on the internet.
Ebay seller “ws toys” has a masked “Movie Destro” figure up for auction now with free shipping on Ebay. This is the first glimpse at the movie design for the head of MARS that has been widely seen.
It seems the “big push” to clear the shelves of 25A product in order to make space for the movie line has begun. Walmart stores have begun to “red tag” certain GIJoe items- a sure sign that they’ll be either moving to clearance status or discontinued in the not-too-distant future.
