Target exclusive vehicle/driver sets REVIEWED!

Retail giant Target has long since been an advocate for the GIJoe brand. With the 25th Anniversary line hitting store shelves it seemed only fitting that the Minnesota-based retailer be granted a few exclusive items– and what exclusives they are! The AWE Striker w/ Crankcase, the venerable Cobra HISS w/ vehicle driver, and the Night Specter w/ Grand Slam are disappearing from toy shelves as you read this.

Hasbro logoGIJoe.Com has posted a comprehensive list of all single-packed figures to be released in 2008 and is giving the fans the chance to choose ten “Hall of Heroes” candidates. 2008 3.75″ Convention exclusive preview continues!

2008 wave 5 up for pre-order at BBTS!

BigBadToyStore.com has listed a pre-order for a special “internet exclusive” case pack which features 2 of each of the BAT and Snow Serpent and one of each of the remaining figures of Hawk, Bazooka, Barbeque, and Storm Shadow (Black)! Also, take advantage of the current pricing on this case as Hasbro has raised the individual cost on the figures by 25%! Once these cases are sold out, replacements will be ordered at the newer higher pricepoint!

2008 Wave 3 “in hand” pics!

25th Anniversary animation battle packs up for pre-order at BBTS!

The first two animation battle packs are now available for pre-order and are tentatively scheduled to arrive in July 2008.

Each set includes at least three unique action figures and a DVD copy of one of the first two Sunbow animated mini-series. Also included in each set is a piece of the imfamous “MASS Device”– purchasing all five sets in the line will allow fans to recreate one of Cobra’s most diabolical weapons. The first set – “The MASS Device”– includes Stalker w/ jetpack, Baroness in underwater gear, Cobra Trooper, and “radioactive” Snake Eyes w/ Timber. The second set — “The Revenge of Cobra”– includes Lady Lady (sans hat), Destro, Roadblock (with creeper vines), and a replica of the Weather Dominator.

Other sets in the series (not available at this time) include “The Pyramid of Darkness”, “Arise, Serpentor! Arise!”, and “GIJoe: The Movie”.

25th Anniversary vehicles are available for pre-order at BBTS!

bigbadtoystore2.jpgThe folks at BigBadToyStore have just listed what might be the most anticipated pre-order of 2008!

Now available for pre-order are the following sets: Armadillo vs. Serpentor’s Air Chariot, HISS Tank w/Rip-It, RAM vs. Trouble Bubble, VAMP w/Clutch, or the set of all four sets!

The vehicle sets are tentively scheduled to arrive in July 2008.
