Hasbro announces its special edition G.I. JOE figures for San Diego Comic-Con
G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA 12” BARONESS Special Edition Figure

Just in time for the release of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, due out on August 7th from Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Entertainment, in association with Hasbro, Hasbro introduces the first and only 12” BARONESS figure. The figure, in the likeness of BARONESS actress Sienna Miller as seen in the upcoming movie, features a soft goods trench coat and body suit as well as multiple signature weapons. The figure comes with an R. Black designed “COBRA recruiting poster” featuring BARONESS and features the “COBRA Office of Propaganda” seal of approval. The figure and poster are packaged together in a premium faux-leather box with embossed foil.

Covertly retrieved from a G.I. JOE evidence storage facility and released by the “COBRA Office of Propaganda,” this special edition 3 ¾” DESTRO 2-Pack represents James “Destro” McCullen’s personal bound tome containing the history of the Clan McCullen. Opens to reveal two fully articulated 3 ¾” carded McCullen figures with masks and accessories as seen in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, as well as a timeline highlighting the weapons supplying escapades of each McCullen generation throughout history.
Cmderinchief continues to offer up great previews of the forthcoming “Rise of Cobra” movie figures. His latest photo shoot features the Viper Commando figure– a tough armored trooper that is going to prove a difficult opponent for GIJoe.

Episodes Of Highly Anticipated G.I. Joe: RESOLUTE Series To Air Online Leading Up To Broadcast Finale On Adult Swim
Hasbro announced today that G.I. Joe: Resolute, an adult fan oriented animated mini-series, will be broadcast via Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim on television as well as online. Based on the classic G.I. JOE brand, Hasbro created 60 minutes of total content for this new story which will be presented as 11 episodes.
Beginning on April 17, fans will be able to see the first five minutes of the brand new, stand-alone animated mini-series on AdultSwim.com. These episodes are broken down to ten 5-minute episodes and one 10-minute finale. Following the first episode on April 17, subsequent installments will be posted on the Adult Swim website leading up to a full presentation of the entire series. This finale will be broadcast on Adult Swim April 25 at midnight. This televised event will not only feature all episodes seen online, but will be the first time fans can watch the final 10 minutes of the G.I. Joe: Resolute saga. The pictures are all over the web now thanks to Ebay seller ws_toys and the auction for the carded movie Cobra Commander figure and the fans are making their voices heard. It’s a very different look for the leader of Cobra and not everyone is in agreement over its success.

Ebay seller ws_toys continues the parade of “leaked” figure from the forthcoming GIJoe motion picture. This time it’s a carded version of the movie Cobra Commander figure. WARNING– clicking the link will most likely spoil certain aspects of the film.
This marks the first time a full-body version of this design has been seen outside of the leaked Combat Heroes pictures.
EBay seller ws_toys has listed the upcoming single pack version of Hawk on eBay. The latest in a series of “leaked figures” hitting the popular auction site, this version of General Hawk differs significantly from the figure that will be included with the forthcoming PITT vehicle/playset.
