2008 wave 3 REVIEWED!
Wild Bill, HISS driver, Cobra Viper, Snake Eyes, Spirit, and Duke (w/ jetpack) join the ranks of the 25th Anniversary collection in 2008 wave 3!
The ranks of both GIJoe and Cobra are bolstered in this latest wave of 25A action figures! Cobra gains two signature troopers, GIJoe adds a helicopter pilot, tracker, and another version of everyone’s favorite commando to the ranks. Even Duke gets a face-lift and some slick new gear in his latest incarnation!

Previews of the Headhunter Guard and Headhunter Stormtroopers figures and filecards have been posted. The file card for the exclusive B. A. T. was also uploaded with the figure to follow on Monday!

SDCC 2008: Combat Heroes are coming!
The GIJoe Collector’s Club has revealed the second San Diego Comic Con exclusive figure– and it’s the start of a whole new line!
Modelled after the highly-successful “Robot Heroes”, “Adventure Heroes”, and “Super Hero Squad” series from Hasbro, GIJoe will be the next property to be given the “PVC treatment” with the line to hit stores sometime in late 2008/ early 2009.

Hasbro reacquires rights to Sunbow distribution
Going slightly under the radar is an article on Forbes.com stating that Hasbro has reacquired the rights to distribution of the Sunbow Productions library of animated titles. This, of course, includes all episode of G.I. Joe from 1982 through 1987 (before DiC took over).
Potentially great news for cartoon fans and those of us who have been overspending on DVD’s and waiting anxiously for Season Two, part 2.

Packaged with a podium and microphone, Cobra Commander has put on his best suit to reach out to the masses– all in an effort to swell the ranks of Cobra.

2008 Convention Headhunter Stormtrooper REVEALED!
After a brief hiatus for the 2008 Bot Con, the 3.75″ convention exclusive previews continue!
The “muscle” of the Headman’s organization, the Headhunter Stormtroopers are a force to be reckoned with. Clad in their imposing spiked armor and armed with heavy machine guns and knives, these shock troops are ready to cut a path through any GIJoe SWAT unit they encounter!

Operation: Rescue Doc REVIEWED!
The first mail-away premium of the 25th Anniversary line has arrived!
Debuting in 1983, Carl “Doc” Greer immediately became a fan-favorite character. With key appearances in both the Marvel Comics series as well as the Sunbow animated cartoon, the khaki-clad medic became a staple in many GIJoe collections. It seemed only fitting when Hasbro announced that Doc would be the first mail-away figure of the line that commerated two-and-a-half decades of everyone’s favorite “Real American Heroes”.
