Jay is a lover of most things plastic and metal. He suffers from a serious case of uncontrollable toy collecting. He started at a young age in the late 70’s and early 80’s with Hot Wheels and Star Wars toys leading into the age of cartoons with G.I.JOE, Masters of the Universe, M.A.S.K. and the many, many other wonderful toy lines of the 80’s. His basement collection is that of a man who needs serious help. His collection of die cast Mopars has taken over a room for itself and it all seems to keep spreading along with the rest of his collectibles throughout the house in spite of his very understanding and patient wife, Jennifer. He waits for the day when his son is old enough to share in the joys of collecting as well.
G.I.JOE was a huge part of Jay’s childhood and still is to this day. His parents taught him to take good care of his toys as a child and he maintains that to this day. Jay spends most of his time as a Tool and Die Maker dreaming of having his own molding/toy company some day. He also tries to go toy hunting in his few spare waking hours and with what little free time that he has after that, he enjoys spending time online shooting the breeze about this, that and the next thing or nothing at all with this great community.
