In December of 2001, the G.I. Joe vs. COBRA toyline was launched. Featuring an entirely new and rebooted continuity, there have been only a few toy pack-in comics and a 44-minute CGI movie to support some of the line.
Many of the file cards make dubious references to the prior incarnation of the ARAH team, and that has added to some bit of confusion as to the direction of the new continuity.
In order to help out with the confusion, we launched a joint effort here at JoeBattleLines to create our own filecards, using only information that doesn't link the characters of today to the characters of the 80s.
All filecards were written by Brian Savage Peterson, with all character art created by Paul Kinnear, and all finishes and layouts created by Todd Weinzierl. We hope that you enjoy.
