Congrats Gary!

So, who's the next figure we want to see made?
"Don't be so gloomy. After all it's not that awful. Like the fella says, in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."

The 3.75 Adventure Team set that the club hasn't even started working on yet? That's further behind in design than the nearly year-behind release of DTC wave 4? The 3.75 Adventure Team set that's about as likely as the MOTH Vehicle that was rumored?

Until I see pictures, I ain't going to get TOO excited about it. That said, I'd LOVE me some 3.75" AT figures. They'd be the perfect link between my Indy figs and my Joe Figs.

Lanny and David have developed a story and a group of test shots. Because of the Mauler Fiasco (which was quoted as such many times over the weekend), the GIJCC is VERY gun shy about annoucing ANYTHING and not being able to deliver. So they are pretty far into the process now as far as looking for tools and beginning art work.

Don't fret on DTC 4, you will see it Q4. The was on and off the record with the GIJCC.

Don't count on the MOTH vehicle until they sell more of the MOTH sets.

To answer the sculpt question, the AT figs are RAH vintage. No idea on Venom. I think they just showed him to get a rise out of me.....and they did. If I had to guess, I would say that Venom may not be too far off of what we saw with Hotwire.

I hope you're right, cmder, but again, until I see pics of actual figures, I'm not going to hold my breath. They've got a customer right here if they can produce the figures.

On that note, on or off the record, did they mention HOW DTC wave 4 was going to be sold - like, singles, 3-packs, one giant set? I need to know if I'm going to be able to get my 8 Cobra Officers for less than an arm and a leg (which I'm already going to have to spend on this year's con Extras - good thing my Bush bucks arrived yesterday...)

They don't know if I remember their answer, but the question was asked. If I had to guess, they will sell them via pre-order in complete sets first and then break them up and sell singles once all who wants at least one of each gets theirs. Just my guess.

Nice. You claim victory, but isn't your campaign for both Venom and Billy? ;)

HAHA! We had to split the ticket up. :shifty

Nah, seriously, Venom was always the main guy. Thusly, the campaign was dubbed Dr. Venom Now! We smoked through over 50 campaign buttons and a stack of bumper stickers. I gave some to Hasbro and the GIJCC who really got a kick out of it. It beats doing a fanboy rant on a forum somewhere only to be buried or an online petition which can come off as pushy. I wanted to have fun and lightheartedness with it and I think that point was received. Whether or not we would have got a Venom would not take away the fun we had, and THAT was the most important thing to me.

Oh, and as promised and I am on public record saying, RaShawn, I would NOW be happy to help you with Big Lob. I am a man of my word! ;)
