Clearly, there's a lot more people than just the folks on these boards voting. That, or a lot of the people on these boards like Snake-Eyes rehashes more than they admit.

Truth be told, it's a solid validation of the popularity of Snake-Eyes. Now I wonder if Hasbro will take the hint and realize there aren't any Dukes or Cobra Commanders on the list....

But remember folks: These are coming in a "unique paint scheme," and no one yet knows if that means "unique" in terms of each individual or "unique" in that they're all going to be in neon pink and purple camo-patterns. Or knowing Hasbro, they'll be metallic silver, since they love that particular twist on things for "special" figures.

Either way, I wouldn't absolutely count on these fingers being particularly useful with the rest of your collection when released. At the very least it sounds like we won't just be getting "fixed" versions of the characters (Flint might have corrected arms but he won't be in his original color scheme, etc...). Either way, I have the lowest of the low expectations for this assortment. It'll likely be overpriced (due to the packaging), useless junk, which will make it easy to pass on, at least.

YAWN....is it just me, or do you guys feel like THE ONLY hall of fame votes that should have been let in were the ONES I CAST!!!!

Im kinda floored that some of the BETTER figures didnt make this. I am in COMPLETE agreement to the original posters comments on the figs. I was not to excited about zartan..to me he did not look like the 80s zartan..I DONT want updated figures that look modern..I want them to look like they did in the 80s, when they were VERY modern looking back then..The new zartan looked great if you never owned the first, and then to reuse the Bloody mold for Bludd?!?! (no pun intended)

Im sorry..but these figures are JUST like crack for me..I never smoked the stuff, but I can tell you, part of me wants to not buy these, and then the joe crackhead in me keeps spending my cash on what I consider sub-par products some of the time.

Does anybody know WHO is on the design team for these figures?!!? Do they have ANY roots at all the the classic line?!?! have they ever read some of the comic books?!?
I love the new joes..dont get me wrong..but some of these figures are very disappointing to me...but it does feel like sometimes that the designers are like "heck yea..I loved torpedo, lets do a GREAT job on him"....and then they say "Hell, I never liked Zartan as a kid OR serpentor..Lets just make our own and see what we come up with..."

Actually, I heard that this Hall of heros will come as an ENTIRE BOXED set. I bet your right and they'll come Metallic gold or silver, and youll just put them on the shelf.

Overall pretty horrendous choices IMO. 2 freakin' Snake Eyes in the top 10!? I guess the fandom has validated that we deserve to get beaten over the head with SE, SS, CC, Duke, and Destro repaints ad-nauseum.

To be fair, GS, they only offered us the choice of 25th Scarlett - I don't think Baroness even made the voting list, if I remember correctly.

I wish I could say this list was a huge surprise, but it's not. I just hope the new deco isn't so outrageous so as to make grabbing the army builders is pointless. If they're straight up re-releases, then great. My armies will grow and I can ignore all the main characters (except maybe Flint, who I hope has the new arms...)

They had Lady Jaye, Baroness, Scarlett, and Pilot Scarlett---whatever that's supposed to be.

It would have also been nice to actually see what she and some of the others would have looked like, as the Paraviper and Cobra Bazooka Trooper were also on the list, but we never saw pics before the poll closed.

(Not to mention we didn't even get to see Pilot Scarlett at all...)

I think my fans choice on this one will be to just skip the set all together. Bad enough to have enough Snake Eyes figures like it is, but then to have two of them in the same set is just way way way too much.

Oy and then when the live action movie comes out that will be another flood of Snake Eyes figures to deal with.

I mean Snake Eyes is cool character and I've got the ninja, commando, and artic ones myself but at the rate we are going I'm waiting for something like bathroom break Snake Eyes or something because everything has been done with the character already. Starting to get some Sigma Six flash backs with the flood of a few characters.
