08 Con?

so... I remember last year there was an uproar that the 07 con location wasn't announced at the 06 con. I would guess a lot of that had to do with the switching around of schedules due to Transformers.

I haven't heard anything or read anything, but did they announce... or even hint... as to where the 08 Con will be? I figured with the abbreviated time period (assuming JoeCon reverts back to January) that they would have made the announcement...

We asked if we would find out by the time the con ended and Brian said no very definitively. On the last day the comment was made that it would most likely happen at the end of June...

No location or static date yet. I was thinking our con would be in the spring next year giving summer to the BotCon again. That would put us having our con the following summer when the movie hits theaters allowing us a sneak viewing of the movie at the convention.

I hope u are right, then no damn wedding will stop me from going, however i might be a little short on funds so if everyone wants to see me they'll have to give me wedding gifts as cash lol so i can go to the con.

Dude, I sent you several pms through the boards here, I did go to the convention, and Piper Sold out fast, Please send me a pm if you want to say something, but dont bash on the boards. Not cool. And Emails? i never recieved any of those. Maybe with the boards, something happened, I dont know, all I know is what I sent you telling you I couldnt get the figure. However, I might be getting one from a friend who will sale it to me for cost, but trying to out me on the boards isn't the way for me to want to try to help you. I seriously was gonna try to get this for you. I wish you the best man, but if you want to hate me and think i screwed you over so be it, but bashing on the boards, is like screwing to stay a virgin, its pointless.

Skarapz, I don't apologize for calling you out on the board. I never recieved any replies to my private messages, and I emailed the address connected to your board profile, skarapz2@hotmail.com. Look at it from my perspective, I figured one form of communication could be faulty, but two? The ONLY way to contact you seemed to be on this board. When PM's and emails don't work, I fail to see any other option.

However, if you honestly did send replies and did not recieve my email then I apologize that things worked out the way it did. I appreciate that you tried getting the figure for me, I really do. And to be honest, I'm not at all "mad" about it. I knew this was going to be a hot seller, I knew it. I'm sure it was a hectic mob-scene the likes of which are only rivaled to the corridors of New York Penn Station at 5 p.m. on a weekday.

What I was upset about was getting zero replies, I thought I was being blown off. But if you didn't recieve the messages then it's not your fault, and I do apologize for blaming you for blowing me off. I wanted to post this on the board because I wanted to show that I'm not really a jerk, and neither are you. It was a technical problem that caused a misunderstanding.

Again, thank you for trying. I appreciate it, I mean that.

He shot me down quick didn't he.I asked Lanny in a roundabout way about mileage and he said he didn't know anything.They did say it would be 2 summer cons in a row.

As for the next con, Rhode Island sure would be a lot easier on me, being in New Jersey. I'm kinda hoping for a NYC con

Yeah that is what I got from the con, as far as people saying that it might be Spring, it sure did not sound that way.
