Order of Battle (Stages of Disciplinary Action)

Postby Leonardo T Dragon » Sun Sep 16, 2007 2:55 pm

As much as I hate this kind of crap I figure I should publish the "order of battle" for disciplinary action around here.

If anyone is found consistently and intentionally violating the spirit of the rules above, the following steps will be taken:

1) Written warning. Either via email or PM you'll be hearing from me with one of those "Cut the crap!" messages. Hopefully this will be enough-- otherwise we move to...

2) Account suspension. Man, I hate the concept of this as, let's face it, we should all be able to act like adults around here. However, if things go too far, you'll have some forced time to think about what led to the disciplinary action. The length of the suspension is entirely up to the discretion of the senior staff and will be proportional to offense. Minor offenses can be as short as seven days. Outright disrespect of board members or blatantly aggressive behavior toward board members or staff will result in a longer "forced leave". If this doesn't work we go to...

3) Banning. Sorry but I've seen too many boards grow "out of control" because some people can't remember to respect others. I won't tolerate that here-- ever. Anyone who consistently decides that they can do whatever they want will have to do so elsewhere.

That's it guys and gals. Remember-- we're all fans so let's just treat each other with common sense and respect.

"Don't be so gloomy. After all it's not that awful. Like the fella says, in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."

Hmmm wouldn't have anything to do with the new host being GoDaddy, the guys that gave us that super sexy commercial during the Super Bowl a few years ago would it? ;)
