While I generally like new characters, I am not impressed here, just looks kind of thrown together IMO.

and the figure the Club thought was going to knock your socks off...

I'm a bit disappointed in it.
First of all that is not a Russian RPG. It is a German anti-tank weapon.
Those legs should have been Bench-Press's or something without those awful knee pads. Those boots don't work either.

Yeah what is up with the prices. I have a bagged set incoming and a 2 pack, the bagged set I paid 300 for before the con and I bought the 2 pack for 150 last night from another collector on ebay. I overpaid for it but it was the cheapest plus in his description he explained why he raised the cost so I had no problem with that. Only the club in all their great buisness planning didnt have all the 2 packs on hand so attendees (some of them) are getting them before August 1st, thus I am as well. I I have the Tanks for the memory fears though.
ROCK N ROLL was my first Joe !!!!

I really liked what I saw from the online coverage.

As I stated in a prior thread, I think the Joe figures of the last 2 years have really set the bar in sculpt, style and accessories.

I just hope Hasbro thinks before using the term "Ultimate" when releasing a figure.

I'm curious about the exact meaning of the therm "Ultimate". Does it means:

- The best version ever of a certain character?
- The last version ever of a certain character?
- The latest version of a character?
- Only BS until we see new versions of the Fantastic Four (Duke, CC, SS, SE)?

OK, that new Duke looks awesome, but wouldn't be better to create a new head a release it as a new character, or a fan-favorite? And, honestly, that SE is very good, but only repeats this version http://www.yojoe.com/action/09/snakeeyes40.shtml with a little bit better proportions.

Fans are claiming for a new version of Gung Ho, dream about find an Alpine for a reasonable price, have to crawl to have a Footloose from the Club...c'mon, there are a lot of characters on the Joe lore that deserve a spot. Hasbro did it great on last 30th / Renegades line, and I wish they continue to follow this path.

Yeah I agree that ultimate can bite them in the @$$. As far as the Duke figure goes, that is an alternate head not a helmet so you can troop build it as a trooper.
I may not be as good as I once was,but I'm as good once as I ever was!
