Oh holy moley!

The Club has links to some of the Toy Fair photos.

I so have to have that Shockwave HiSS. If for nothing else, the Joe scale Soundwave in alt mode with cassette tapes!!!! It even comes with repourposed MASS element containers as Energon cubes!

The Blind Master's accessories remind me of that old Kung Fu movie 5 Elemental Ninjas or some such.

Joe Colton -- Yippie kai ay?

Ally Viper looks scrawny without the armored vest of old. Probably get one anyway since it's an AV.

Roadblock sportin' the People's Eyebrow. May need to steal Leatherneck's dark glasses.

Still not digg'in the barely there articulation of the drivers. What is this 1970's Star Wars? Rather that Hasbro just repaint older figures. Give us Eels and Motor Vipers repainted rather than "new" figs that remind us of Kenner in-action toys.

Looks like Fun Pub has also put up images on the OTFCC of new Transformers stuff. Really glad most of the bot's from season 1 and 2 are showing up in some form or another. Mostly in the Cyberverse line. No sign of Arachnid yet.

Roadblock is a ninja. AWE is a ninja-mobile. Everybody is a ninja. Ninja, ninja, ninja!!! :vulgar

My first impression about these figures is: this movie will be a crap. Serious crap.

Talking about them...

Some catched my attention: CC looks great, and seems to have double-joint knees. Firefly is cool, too. Also the HALO greenshirt. So do the ninjas, but, oh God, they're ninjas at all. The best one is Zartan.

Flint big-headed, Lady Jaye scarlett-bodied, and Roadblock poor-armed didn't thrill me. Poor Joe Colton got Recondo's body...such a waste of a great head sculpt.

About those drivers: it's hard to believe they're manufactured by the same company who released Lifleline, Airtight, Sci-Fi and Techno-Viper, one month ago. Pure trash. I just wonder: if the goal is to save money, why not reuse previuos molds, instead of make new without the articulation points?

Some quick thoughts (more later when I have time):

Drivers: Hasbro is full of BS, The drivers are lame and there are a few vehicles I know I will pass on just for that reason, they will probably clearence anyway.

Articulation-Only a few reductions will be purchased by me, I have to cut back costs and can't afford inferior figures.

Colton, Jaye, Roadblock, CC all look good, Wanted Jinx in red dressy outfit but oh well, Loving blind master, is that the ROC SS body.

Further cheapeness-CYBER NINJA, I can get behind the idea, but I mean it's just a repainted Wraith-even has the Tony Stark head, ARRGH.

SDCC Jinx's and Shockwave HISS-DUUUUUDE why did SW Hiss have to have so much cool stuff, crap, now I have to have it. Another crap day at HTS for me then.

The claim being made from Hasbro reps at Toyfair is that existing multi-POA tooling still costs more to use than creating all-new limited POA tooling. I still don't fully understand that, but they are the ones crunching the numbers, not me.

My fear is that limited POA driver figures will become the "new normal" from now on, and that will nix me buying ANY vehicle from now on.

If this crap figures become the "new normal" as you said, I will be the first to jump out of the boat. It's a total absurd that Hasbro, a giant company, have no shame to present those figures under a excuse of save some cents...I'm really mad about this line!
