1) How can fans get across to you the characters we would like to see made into figures?

A)Keep making suggestions at conventions and on the boards! The more we hear about what the fans want, the better we are able to decide what fan-focsued figures to make available.

2) Marketing stratagy wise why weren't the Renegads figures released during the cartoon run?

A)The Renegades animated series was developed faster than the toys could be developed so they didn't match up in regards to the airing of the show and the availability of the figures. We're really happy with the way both turned out and hope you enjoy the great assortment of G.I. Joe Renegades figures we've introduced.

3)Are you still under the opinion that you need to have multiple versions of the "Core" characters like Duke,Snake eyes,Storm Shadow and Cobra Commander every year?

A)As we try to engage a new generation of G.I. Joe fans in kids, the core characters are more recognizable through entertainment and media.

Will the core Renegades team be completed? It would be a shame to have everyone except Roadblock.

As a follow-up, what are the chances that we will see other Renegades-based figures? Baroness, for example, hasn't been represented in the post-movie lines yet.

Madmac, to piggyback on your question, I'd like to know if there are efforts underway to synch up product with Hub network shows in the future. It seems like every show premieres long before the related toys hit shelves, which seems like a waste; if the toys were released ahead of the show premiere, they'd be more likely to catch the eye of the average consumer.

1) The sets shown at New York look great, with the exceptions of Burnout and Taurus why would you reuse a mold that leaves the figure unable to look anyplace but down or is this going to be corrected?

I definitely want to echo what Heli said about Renegades. I would also like to know if the new wrist articulation will be the standard from now on. It's tough to tell if the Renegades trooper and Trat have it.

The upcoming BBTS 7-packs are a welcomed sight, but they are bittersweet in the regard we’re missing two key figures from both sets—Sgt. Slaughter and Zarana. Without these two, each set really isn’t complete for collectors who were not able to score either of the SDCC exclusives. Is there any way you or the Club can get these figures to fans who missed out—even if it’s different deco to protect the value of the SDCC versions?

Here are the questions being submitted this go round.
1) What are the chances that we will see other Renegades-based figures like the Baroness and Roadblock just to name a few?

2) Will the new wrist articulation be the standard from now on. It's tough to tell if the Renegades trooper and Tunnel rat have it?

Here are the answers from the final round of the G.I. Joe 2011 Q & A.

1) What are the chances that we will see other Renegades-based figures like the Baroness and Roadblock, just to name a few?

1A. Through the end of 2011 and early 2012, our remaining Renegades figures will hit shelves including Tunnel Rat, Scarlett, Storm Shadow, Cobra Trooper, Ripcord, Law and Order and Airtight.

2) Will the new wrist articulation be the standard from now on? It's tough to tell if the Renegades Trooper and Tunnel Rat have it?

2A. Renegades Trooper and Tunnel Rat do not have this articualtion, as they use some existing tooling. In answer to your question about making this standard, the answer is "no." Moving forward only specific figures will have this articulation. As a general rule, figures that need articulation will have it, ones who do not, will not.

3) The upcoming BBTS 7-packs are a welcomed sight, but they are bittersweet in the regard we’re missing two key figures from both sets—Sgt. Slaughter and Zarana. Without these two, each set really isn’t complete for collectors who were not able to score either of the SDCC exclusives. The answer to question #2 is a bummer. I would argue that the wrist articulation is so good that every figure needs it. With the wrist articulation these Joe figs are hands down the most articulated 1:18 scale figs on the market. It is so easy to bring any gun to eye level with the wrist art. Without it you have to contort the figure into an unrealistic pose especially if the wrist has an angle to it. Not a good move Hasbro - disappointing.
