On the passing of a fellow fan.....

Postby General Scarlett » Mon May 24, 2010 7:04 am

Sadly we lost one of our own yesterday. Craig 'Outrider' Anderson was not someone well known here on JBL, or for that matter on many other boards except one-JoeDios.com

'Outrider' displayed true devotion to the dio community, giving us some fantastic pics and always offering up positive encouragement and true brotherhood to fellow fans.

Please take a moment to flip through some of 'Outrider's work....and spend another moment to send supporting thoughts to his family in Australia.

Thank You.

Damm. I knew from the Joedios forums and some of peoples' dios that he wasn't well but I didn't expect this.

My prayers are with him and his family
Eye in the sky, going high! Gung-Ho Joe is going low.

I read this last night and it utterly floored me.

Yeah, I've been a fan of his for quite a while. It's a shame that he passed so young.
"Don't be so gloomy. After all it's not that awful. Like the fella says, in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."
