The mini-playsets would be awesome, though I almost have a feeling they'll either be an exclusive of some kind, or they might be REALLY hard to get because it's getting to the point now where I'm seriously wondering just how much product they can squeeze in between now and movie-time.

But the flip side is this: If there's only a 50 percent chance of mini-playsets now, I bet there's about 100 percent chance of seeing them after "classic" product returns (if they don't get to them before the movie stuff hits).

Hey, I'm confused about something...

4) Will the Resolute figure be styled in such a way that they stick out from the regular 25th anniversary figures or will they blend in? The Resolute Zap that has appeared on various upcoming lists has raised concerns that Zap will not fit in well with the rest of the original 13.

The Resolute figures will fit with the classic figures.

What are the "classic figures?"

I would assume that means that the resolute Zap will blend with the 25th style O13. But that's not exactly what it says.

I would equate "classic figures" with RAH-style O-ring (not real likely), or 12 inchers (somehow, less likely). It certainly doesn't seem that that's what hasbro meant, but it would be a little odd to refer to a line that's so new as "classic." Do they mean that the resolute figures will look okay with any existing 3 3/4 Joes, regardless of sculpt? (as opposed to making them look like a completely different product)

Anyway, can anyone clarify? Or did I miss something in one of the questions that answers that?

They mean the 25th sculpts which are "Classic" takes on on "Classic" characters.

Yeah, I guess that makes sense. I went back and reread the intro, and they referred to the forthcoming figures as classic.

Are there any 25th style figures up to this point that aren't "classic?" Or is that a distinction that will become important when the resolutes come out?

Edit: So as I reread the Q&A's, correct me if I'm wrong, but I guess the "classic" is meant to be a distinguisher from "movie."

Classic is what they are calling the line now that the 25th anniversary has passed.

So, now that it is no longer 2007, they have to call it something else, and they are going with "Classic" similar to the Transformers line that is reimagining the 1984-1989 figures.

So, it is the same figure style from the 25th anniversary, just no longer calling them 25th anniversary, due to semantics.

So, the new mold style is what is going to be used for Resolute, and the movie figures is what the statements being made suggest.

I hope this makes it more clear for you, Shogun.

How will releasing a Cover Girl and Ripcord "confuse" kids?
Shouldnt they stop making Dukes, Cobra Commanders and the two resident ninjas if that is the case? And why would Hasbro care? Wouldn't that still be a profit for them?
