Sorry about the delay in posting these tonight, gang.

1) Since the rights to the Sunbow library have been reacquired is there now a realistic chance of getting the complete Sunbow animated series released on DVD?

Yes there is a chance. There are no official plans yet, but we are looking into it.

2) The 25th Anniversary line was hyped as having the most articulation
we've ever seen (or something to that effect) yet the iconic and
fan-favorite Major Bludd is being released with no elbow joint in his
right arm. I understand the line is paying homage to the classic
designs but this particular decision seems to be a step backwards in a
line that has managed the balance between tribute and new construction
techniques quite well. Can you explain the reasons for this decision?

This was a design decision to pay tribute to the 80's figure and we knew that either way 50% of the fans would not be satisfied. Based on feedback, we are looking into an articulated arm somewhere down the line.

3) Hasbro has produced Star Wars Transformers and now Marvel Transformers. Are there any plans to create a G.I. Joe/Transformers cross-over line? If such a line were to be made, which creative team would primarily work on it (ie. the Joe team, the TF team, or a combination of both)? Again, if a cross-over line were to be done, what format would you prefer: TF characters that transform into Joe/Cobra vehicles or Joe/Cobra characters that are the TF's themselves?

For the time being there are no plans for a G.I. Joe/Transformers crossover.
For the time being both brands are ramping up for huge movies in 2009 and want to stay focused on the movie line. We have heard the collectors asking for this…but for the time being it is not being considered.

4) We saw the Cobra Commander Comic Con exclusive, but we can't see
his articulation because he's behind a podium. Does he have full GIJOE
25th anniversary articulation (ie: ball-jointed hips), or does he have more "Indiana Jones/Star Wars" articulation?

This figure has an Indy/SW articulation. The only way to do this figure was to share the tooling with Indy; but we accepted the change in style because the figure rocks and he was designed to stand at a podium so his waist articulation is less important.

5) Throughout the 25th Anniversary line we've seen some figures with
painted flesh tones and others with molded flesh tones. (IE- Flint
vs. Buzzer) Will a consistent approach be adopted or will this continue to vary on a figure by figure basis?

This is a decision that is made on a figure by figure basis by the design team.

Since one of my pet peeves is having to register to view a forum here is HISSTank's Q&A:
http://www.hisstank.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11034
1)We want the GIJOE 25th clamshell cases. Will these be available soon?
A.Our goal is to give fans what they want…so keep the requests coming. Clamshells will debut at SDCC this year.

2)Are there going to be any Wal-Mart exclusives?
A. Yes, the fall 2008 exclusives for all retailers will be debuted at JoeCon…and boy do we have some incredible things coming!

3)Can you tell us more about the Hall of Heroes set that is coming next year?

A. The top 10 fan voted characters will debuted at JoeCon. This assortment is meant specifically for our collectors as a way to celebrate the end of the classic line as we head into the movie line.

4)With RED LASER ( a RED SHADOW ) making it into the Top 3 in the custom contest and with Devils Due recently bringing back the RED SHADOWS to the comic page, has the design team even looked at the possiblity of doing these UK repaints in your new International Collection?
A. There are no plans for bringing back the Red Shadows right now, but they are on our radar.

5)How will the Combat Heroes line be set up? Will we get both Classic Joes and Movie Joes?
A. Yes, the line will start off giving you classic expressions and transition to movie figures in 2009.

I need a few case clamshells. I'm assuming after/during SDCC they will show up on HTS too.

I may be out of line or in the wrong forum, but can someone please ask the folks at Hasbro to do a comic pack with Dr. Venom and the Eskimo Kwinn with his shorts? I think this would make an AWESOME comic pack. IMO.

ToyNewsI.com: Will the Steeler that comes with the Armadillo tank come with his signature visor? If not, why was it left out?

Hasbro: Steeler will not come with his visor as we had to make some tough decisions in order to pack 2 figures and 2 vehicles into a pack with a SRP of $14.99

my favorite , so i guess the visor costs alot

Ya Figures.com had the same question but was asking about the RAM/Flight Pod pack.

FIGS: Will the figures in the upcoming vehicle two-packs have all of their accessories? (e.g. Communication gear for Breaker/Tele-Viper, etc.)

HASBRO: Honestly, for the vehicle 2 packs you are now getting 2 figures and 2 vehicles for a SRP of $14.99; that is a great deal. With all that value, we had to cut back on some of the gear.

Here's my answers.......even though since being sent we got the answer to #5.....

1. Now that your making figures from the Sunbow Cartoons( which I
think is AWESOME), Is there any chance will see single episode cartoons
from seasons 1 or 2 packaged with some figures?

For the short term, the plan is to use the Sunbow series in the DVD
battles; there will be 5 sets in all. Single episodes are not in the
short term plans.

2. What made you decide to make the Trakker figure after Matt
Trakker From the M.A.S.K. Toyline?

There are many jobs that were never in the classic line so the
designers wanted to add them into the new line. Cobra Paraviper, Cobra Sniper, and G.I. Joe test pilot Agent Trakker are a few.

3. If you are making a new Joe Cartoon, Are any of the Original
voice actors like Bill Rather, Mary Lewis MacDonald, Michael Bell, etc be a
part of it?

No plans for a new cartoon have been announced so we cant speculate on possible voice actors for a possible cartoon.

4. With such a high demand for these 25th anniversary figures, is
there any talk of increasing production of figures?

Yes…production has increased dramatically…but so has the demand. We are cranking out more figures and will continue to increase production in the future.

5. Do we know yet what company will be taking over the G.I. JOE
Comic & when the first issue will be released?

IDW has the license and we are working on a plan for the new comic
franchise.
