Round 5 The Answers!

Postby madmac41 » Wed Nov 18, 2009 3:12 pm

Long story Short Hasbro never got our questions ..Until this afternoon so Thanks to Mike and Danny at Hunter PR and the Great Folks at Hasbro here are your answers!

1-It seems that there is a massive overstock of the early waves of the movie-themed figures that's keeping newer product from getting to shelves (and possibly leading to cancellations already if news of Wave 3 Alpha vehicles is true). While we understand that you as a company might consider Rise of Cobra a success for yourselves (since presumably you make your money when the retailers pay you for the product you provide), do the retailers feel the same way, or is the near-term (2010) future of the G.I. Joe line in doubt due to overestimation of demand?
Wave 3 of Alpha Vehicles will be in store in early 2010 and we will release the Pursuit of Cobra product line in 2010 as well. We are pleased with The Rise of Cobra line and how it was received. We're looking forward to delivering more great products and stories in 2010 and beyond with G.I. Joe

2-We seem to be getting a ton of Dukes again But there are many characters that have not seen figures from the classic RAH line to Spy Troops,Valor vs Venom as well as the DTC line. Some of these include a Male version of Dial Tone,A Correct version of Repeator,Lowlight and Lifeline just to name a few From the RAH Line to Crosshairs, Barrel Roll,Blackout,Bombstrike,Maj. Barrage and Munita from the newer lines. What are the chances we will see their return to duty in the near future?Or the return of Sgt. Slaughter to the G.I. Joe Ranks?
We plan on including fan favorites into the line in 2010…but it is too early to confirm specifics.

3- It's been a year and there are still many fans that have been unable to aquire Alpine is there a chance that you could a.-Make him part of a store exclusive or b.-Give him an updated apperance and make him part of the Pursuit of Cobra Line? What about some of the other DVD exclusive figures such as a Classic look Serpentor, Maj. Bludd,Quick kick. Or some of the Figures from the defence of Cobra Island with a Movie Era look?
Good news – we plan to release Alpine in a 2010 multipack in a classic look. Please stay tuned for news on other figures.

Good news about Alpine for those who never found him. Maybe if we keep up the pressure with Reactive Armor Breaker, they'll relent and give us him as well.
