Sad to say that my interests kinda follow along with whatever I'm currently collecting. So, since there hasn't been any new Sigmas, they kinda got packed up and put out of the way for the current stuff. Regardless, of the stuff I've been going through and thinking about getting rid of, I know I want to keep the Sigmas around. They're just too awesome, and I still stand by that even if I haven't touched them in awhile. I do also stand by my problems with how huge they are (I've had that problem from the first time they were announced, I just changed my mind on liking them once I got Storm Shadow in hand and it went from there). So when it comes to playin' with 'em, it's harder to set up a bunch of these huge guys than it is to set up the little joes (like always). Like I said, though, I'm not getting rid of some of the best toys in history (I might have to say a lot to back up that opinion, but I do believe it. They stand right next to Xevos, in my opinion).

So....they're boxed up. I've been meaning to get back to them at one point. Since we're kinda in an RoC rut, I was thinking of getting out some older stuff and doing some retro reviews, but I dunno how useful they'll be besides bothering people with slapstick and bad jokes.

Id like to say Thank You to monte for starting this much needed thread. I have many sigmas on display and my boys play with the collection in their room. But since this thread started, it has perked my interest back into fooling around with the rest of the ones i had tucked away, and im already working on 3 new customs and trying to remember why i ever put it down.

cheers,
mrB

Excellent replies, folks. Skull, you're daughter is awesome. :) If I had better internet access, I'd load the video of my daughter singing "Master of Puppets" when she was four.

I guess it's just small Joes and Flickr for me; I can't seem to load pics at JoeDios anymore. Stupid slow internet.

I still have a ton of Sigmas and many customs that are on hold. I started snapping up select 25th figures and I have bought most of the ROC figures. Everything I buy is essentially for some kind of custom down the road.

And I like what you did with Vermin in your pictures. That was my first Sigma 6 custom and he still has a near and dear place in my heart. He is on the drawing board for a 4 inch scale custom, so I might just steal your recipe and tweak it a bit...

Oh cool, you've seen it; I tried to load it here and at JoeDios for you to check out, but to no avail.

I think the unmasked comic-pack Beachhead would be a great choice for a head for a Vermin custom, too. He looks weasely, somehow.

Yo Monte!

Haven't been focused on Sigma lately, been collecting the Sideshow G.I.JOE line. They aren't as sturdy or durable as Sigmas, (I don't think anything will be) but they're really cool figures. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
