Yep because I can afford it. I remember when poorly-painted, poorly-articulated doo-doo cost less than $5. :(
I was just being sarcastic though. ;)
However I'm limiting myself to buying single Joes at either K-Mart for $5.99 or HTS with 10% off.

I've waited along time for these! :D Are these out yet? Anyone gotten any? Also, anymore pics? Hoping for a Red Tornado, Green Arrow and Flash.

Umm yes they are out.
I got some yesterday too. They only had Guy, Marvel, Strange, & Zoom. I think those 4 are in the case. Unless the others are short packed. However they had at least 4 of each of the above characters. I got Zoom & Marvel. IMO Zoom is pretty good.
Now I'm wondering how I can improve on Capt. Marvel. I need to give him new arms.

I just saw these at Target.
THey looked WAY better than the protos photos from NYCC or ToyFair.

I was very tempted but dont want to start buying a new toyline.
I may pick up a Batman and Gordon w/Swat guys when they come out.

I was thinking maybe a Build n Brawl figure's arms could replace Capt. Marvel's.
AV what do you think? You seem to be the expert in those. :)

I can't say until I have some DCIH's in my hand, man. Liftoff says he found Adam Strange for me last night, but I'll not pick that up any earlier than tomorrow.

However, from what I've seen, the shoulder balls are very differently sized in the two lines. It should be possible to cut the swivel plug going down into the bicep off the BnB shoulder and grafting (at least) the hindarm into the DCIH arm; but frankly I think the cartoony sculpting of this line makes them pretty uncompatible with BnB, Joe, or SW cross-grafting. From what I've seen, I really don't think these DCIH figs are worth much more than accessories cannibalization. The figs' bodies themselves just look really crummy all around.

I just saw these today as well and agree they look better than the protos, but still not good enough to pick up. Do these look really tiny to anyone else? They just look a lot amller than SW or Joe figures. The JL figures blow these away IMO.

Yeah, they look to be closer to 3.5" than 3.75" to me. I've seen comparison pics with the JLU figures and the JLU figs seem to tower over them.

Not as bad as I thought. They do look awfully tiny in the package though.

Hmm, yeah that's not as bad as I thought when I saw them in the store. I only had some HulkBuster Joes to compare the sizes with. But, I think Guy here is one of the bigger figs of the ones I saw. As Liftoff had gotten Adam Strange for me, I was comparing the 'Busters to him and he looked like a 15 year old kid next to them. And Zoom's head was laughably tiny.

Ya Zoom's head is a bit tiny yet he seems to be the best one far.
