Almost all of my pics are taken in a light tent with two positionable lights on each side. I make sure to use a tripod, macro setting and the 2 second delay on my camera so it is perfectly still. The backgrounds range from garden rocks, to PTE buildings, to aquarium decorations and real moss.
Hmm....no two ways about it. Gona need a light tent sometime to get the most out of my photos. Need to see what kinda modes my camera has as well, though I'm sure you've got something built for the job. Mine is just a little cannon (though it's way better than my previous cameras). Also, I had been looking at those aquarium decorations before, I thought they would work well! I'm gona have to get some stuff like that when I've got more room.
Alexx, I'm sure your camera is fine...I use a cheap Kodak V1003 - it cost me about $ 150 or so....
