IntroInterview with Lord Skiff creator of the Joe fighting gameGuest review of the 2002 convention set by Fred MyerIntermissionCounterpunch from Seibertron.comMailbagFrom Marc:
I'm trying to figure out which day to fly out and I know the convention normally does a 'preview night'. Does the convention start with a 'preview night' on June 27th? Or does the convention really start on the 28th with the preview night?
Look forward to seeing you guys there!

I've never been to JoeCon before, how much is it? Can you pick up figures and other merchandise there? I'm hoping my schedule works out so I can make it up there. From what I've heard on the show it sounds like a blast.

IntroInterview with Neil RossGuest Review Of The 2010 Joe Con set by ShogiIntermissionMailbag Hey guys. First off, great show. I've been a listener since episode 1. Keep up the great work! Here's my joe con question. Last year was my first joe con and it was great. The thing is, my brother was with me then and I basically didn't stay the whole day and for all activities. This time I'm flying in Thursday and leaving Sunday morning, and I'm going solo. I really want to take full advantage and just go all joe intensive. What's a good way to mingle and find groups to chat with and what not? Also which ticket gets you to the dinner? Lastly, what are the advantages of the gold ticket? Sorry about being lengthy. Thanks guys.
Kenny
Hey guys...love the podcast. It's my new weekly addiction (besides hitting my local Ross for cancelled Joe items!).
Two questions:
1. Who do you think this year's San Diego Comicon Sideshow Exclusive will be? A repaint (like a gold faced Cobra Viper Officer) or will SSC break tradition and do a new character that perhaps would be a kitbash of other already done characters (like a Shockwave with a black Beachhead balaclava and vest)?
2. What do you think now about the 2012 JoeCon exclusive set "Operation Beartrap"? I personally love it, even though the Oktober Guard likenesses are not spot on to their comic versions and the Iron Grenadiers are basically the cancelled 5-pk. I love the WWII vibe to the set, which essentially looks like Germans vs. Russians and remind me of why I fell in love with G.I.Joe back in 1982 - the military aspect with a futuristic flavor added. Forget all this Zombie and Compound Z stuff!
Keep up the great work and congrats on hitting the 1 year mark. Hey, how about a post-con special edition? Talk about all the debauchery and Joe goodness that happened...just a thought!

It's Barbara, Chuck's sister. Between finding out that Shipwreck was not based on Peter Reckell and listening to Michael Bell, my childhood is ruined.
