So far I liked what I've seen from the series. I had a good conversation with Darryl DePriest at ComicCon and I'm excited about this show. It seems to be an interesting new take on the franchise. I like Clem Suave's designs.
However, we are less than 2 months out from the show's premiere and the creation of The Hub network. And there is virtually nothing out there. Hasbro made a big push at Comic Con, which is good. But only a niche group of people go there. Now you have to start reaching out to the millions of people that will have access to The Hub. They need to know that D-Kids is becoming the Hub and they need to start promoting these new shows.
If Hasbro wants to run a TV channel and they want to start producing more cartoons these are steps they have to take. But as of now, there is barely anything out there. Hasbro can't expect a big studio to do all the legwork for them, they have to get the lead out. The word is not getting out for this show.
Disney and Marvel are already pushing Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes very hard and that show premieres in the same month.
