"What's on Joe Mind" Podcast

Postby Crosshair » Mon Apr 25, 2011 6:41 pm

Myself, Chuckdawg1999 and cmderinchief have started recording weekly podcasts discussing news and stories related to the work of G.I. Joe. In this first episode we discuss the Skystriker's price point, Hasbro's profit report, and Wave 6 figures on JoeDeclassified.com, ALL while fighting the technical growing pains of an inaugural podcast.

Enjoyed it thoroughly.

I'll bet that Skystriker price point is $3-$8 higher here.

And the chopper you guys were trying to remember was a variant of the CH-54 Tarhe also known as the civillian SkyCrane. Built by Sikorsky, the CH-54 is now retired, but it is still used in the civillian world most notably as a logging tool. Cobra also used a styleized variant to pick up and drop off HiSS tanks in several early issues.

Can't wait for more episodes!

In the next episode we put out the call for assistance with either sound editing or graphic work, if you know anything about either of those we'd love to have assistance.

That isn't a bad idea. I can see us going a Sigma episode down the road. Community feedback and involvement is key. I am rather surprised how quickly this all took off. We'll just ride it and see where it goes.

Yeah, we'll love to have someone who was a big Sigma Six fan on down the road when we talk about it!

Haha, a very good question. It's obviously much better than a normal spear. :D
