First, my 3 complaints against Zartan- his little spear thing is nearly garbage. The string is too short too be useful, the handle spins and it can't peg to his armor anywhere. second, only 2 arrows. With his bow loaded, he has 1 sitting in his quiver. A real waste to have 3 holes in it when they aren't even full. Third, he's a touch light on accessories... could have been a $10 toy for all he ends up with.
Now, his bow... it looks like something out of Doom 3. The curvy nature topped with all that tech detailing, the evil skull and the horns wrapped in metal bands. Reminds me a touch of the berserker power-up you find at one point. |

| Yeah I hate the gear too, but it's a pretty bitchin' figure so.. you take the bad with the good. |

| Yes, Zartan does come with his share of "waste of plastic" weapons, but the figure has the best sculpt so far, so it makes up for it. |

| By the way, Zartan is bald under his hood, his hood is glued on. |

Actually, his sculpt severely limits his elbow articulation, thanks to those ginormous guantlets. That, I feel, is a definite "minus" to his sculpt. I do love the figure otherwise, though. _________________ Pork Chop Sandwiches!!!! |

Of COURSE he's bald - you ripped off his toupee!!!!
Personally, I think anyone getting a Sigma Figure for the accessories (Timber Excluded) is barking up the wrong tree. They're great figures, but most of the "weapons" are a bit ridicilous. They're all over-sized and all a bit wacky looking, even the ones that are supposed to be real weapons.
Personally, I love the Zartan fig as it looks EXACTLY like he should. And while I display him with his full gear, when I do "play" with him, it's usually just using the semi-cool double-barrell machine guns he comes with. THOSE are sweet! Utterly impossible, but sweet. |

| i just picked up zartan, stone, cc and snake eyes and i have to say that zartan is prolly my favorite of the whole line so far. true im not crazy about the weapons (wish he had a bow) but i think overall, as far as just how good he looks, he really shows a step forward. this whole wave seems to be a notch higher imo. |

| Actually, his oversize forearm got nothing to do with the way it bend at the elbow, it's his bicep. If you want his arm to bend at 90 deg then you have to do a little cutting, trim off a little bit of his bicep at the elbow... |

I like the weapons save for that sad excuse for a poker thing(which would have been good if they'd worked on it). Just he's a bit underpacked for the $15 range.
I like the gauntlets because a) his machine gun woul dneed them to function and b) his guns aren't pegging directly into his bones(the new Storm Shadow has some nasty flesh divots).
I like him more than Destro... which is an okay toy but his launcher thing looks odd(I'm sacrificing it for a custom project... taking a G2 Megatron and turning it into a full-sized Reverse Convoy. Destro's launcher will be a replacement cannon). |

I wanted to try that, but I was afraid that the silver on the gaunlets would rub off. |
