I'm upset that Hasbro went with two different scales of figures. The cool thing about 3.75" figures was that you were able to use anyone of them in the vehicles. I understand that Sigma 6 is a different line of figures, but how cool it would have been if there was one scale? Imagine a 5" figure with movment of a 12" inch figure and we would be able to use them in Vehicles.
I want to see which do you guys mostly collect. |

er...why did you pick 5"? That again would be a totally different size then anything else out there. Makes no sense. I could see if you said 6" as most 3.75" collectors have often said that would have been the size to go to if they changed the size at all. But 5"? Personally I would have liked 7.46" scale. _________________ Currently Looking For

Welcome to eight months ago.......
IF there was one scale it would be 3 3/4'' PERIOD.
But since Hasbro does know what they are doing I really enjoy their SIGMA SIX line in both scales. The figures are awesome in 8'' and have great accesories and articulation. VERY FUN to play with. The 2.5'' is fantastic for vehicles (haven't had this much fun with Joe vehicles since I was a kid playing with the 3 3/4'' stuff). Great concept for customization and interchangeability on these little vehicles.
And 'How cool would it have been' nothing.
These things are cool now. |

| If the 2.5'rs had more points of articulation then they'd get my vote, until then 8 inch takes the cake!! |

8" all the way for me (although, I do own the first run of vehicles in 2.5"; I bought them just to get my hands on a few and try them out). I probably won't buy anymore because I think if they would've put that kind of creativity and customization in the 3 3/4" line we would have another good run for it. Of course, some of it is not that creative if you ask me. On top of that, the pricing made me pick one because I won't abandon picking up the occasional 3 3/4" item on ebay or "random" DTC waves. _________________ Because my opinion is so important, I must post it for everyone to read.

For FIGURES. I like the 8' stuff. I liked the 3.75 when I was a kid but right now. 8" is perfect. It's big enough to get nice detail in, clean lines, nice gear, and they look REALLY nice on my shelves.
For VEHICLES I like the 2.5. It lets them get alot of "Bulk" in the SCALE with out getting "Too big"
I mean the dragonhawk is one of the first vechiles that was AS BIG AS IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE for the GI Joe universe. I love it.
But yeah, for figures. 8 inch all the way. I'm gettin um all, and picking and choosing which 2.5 stuff I want, but I've ___________NOT_____________ bought any "Just figure" packs for the 2.5. Don't like um. |

I like both, but i prefer the 8". ESPECIALLY now that we are getting more diverse line of figs. I mean, who else cant wait for the shipwreck, cobra Firefly, Gung Ho, Grand Slam, Wetsuit, and who ever lock up is? My only complaint on the 8" figs is they dont come with stands...... _________________ Will my past....ever stop catching up to me? (Storm Shadow) |

| I've got over 40 of the 8 inchers on 3 shelves. Not one of them needs a stand. Even big ass SSD with that honkin gun. Even he stands up with the back pack as nice counterweight. |

i have 89 sigma 6 , 8 inch figures... ( 21 on their way here.) but i dont have any problems with any standing.. yea some kind of stand that would make them be able to do all kinds of wierd poses would rock.. but if that boosted the price. i say f that.. would rather get more accessories.. _________________ " I don't rock the boat I sink it "
