Noice!

Now that is Lowlight. I can't believe i didn't even think of sticking AT SE's goggles over Shockwave's noggin to try that, and that my friend is a nice Kamakura. I have to admit i also had him as my default KK for a couple of weeks after i got my AT SE... but i've since reverted back to the original. Maybe i'll periodically trade them out. And finally Sandstorm fits alot better than Powerslave IMO. Wink

Good stuff as always.

Yeah, except that, according to YoJoe.com, some after-my-time version of Dusty came with a dog named Sandstorm. Confused Very Happy

Say, my Red Pants SS's red pants don't have elastic on the ankles. They're more like bell bottoms. Did you add the elastic, or did they come that way?

Possible variant! Wink

Bluestalker did that for me. He also made my Joefly's trenchcoat and Destro's black cloth pants. He is the shiznit.

Gotcha. They look good with the elastic, and it gives them a different feel. I like the bell bottoms a lot, though - very different from other pants in this line.

A quick and casual count shows I have 30 Cobras and 22 Joes, but that's counting Inferno and Joefly as Cobras on accounta I done turned 'em into new characters.

But yeah, I started troop-building 'cause I always felt good guys looked weak and lame if they outnumbered the bad guys.

I plan to have 10 or more of each of Sky BATs, Ninja BATs, and blue KKs, after which I may decide to start having a go at IGs, too...

I actually like them, too.

...That makes two of us; seems like everyone else hates those pants, and that SS in general; he might be my favorite.

I have plenty of "military" pants, and given the number of SS we've gotten, the pants really set Red Pants apart.

Other than the pants, he's recycled, but he's probably the best shirt-wearin' version of the X-Bow SS, and being just white-and-black outside the pants makes him versatile.

That Recondo harness would probably look cool on your Kamakura. Great pics, Monte. You've always got the best eye for mix 'n match!

Great job Monte, your best bashes yet! Thumbs up

Lowlight is AWESOME. It would break my heart to take apart my AT SE's gear & give it to Shockwave... and also, I'd be without a Shockwave figure then! Still, I'm sure you'll share plenty more pics of this guy as time goes on, so I'll satisfy my need for a Lowlight figure by poring over your pics. Smile

KK is pretty good! Keeps with the 'green ninja' theme very well. Cool

Sandstorm, I didn't like him very much as Powerslave, but now, with the grenades, shotgun & pistol, he looks pretty wicked too!

Cool

I should clarify: Powerslave was only ever the title of the post (and, of course, the Iron Maiden album)... the fig was never intended to have that name. That'd be a terrible name for a fig!

Now then... Recondo's harness??

Recondo has a harness...? Am I losing my mind...?

Combat Squad Recondo, not Adventure Team. CSR has a green harness that looks like SE v1's harness.
