OK, so I stumbled upon one of these 12 Inch GI JOE at the local Walmart (Windsor,California). I could not believe that there was one just sitting in the shelf waiting for me. My first impression "WOW", Hasbro really got this one right. Then it was memories of the good ol' days of me and my Joe's. After a few minutes of messin around with him, I looked at the Sigma Six Flint, I then realized GI JOE has come a loooong way.

I am not taking anything away from the original's but not having any accesories right away kind of put a damper on this line for me. I definately think Hasbro was putting this line out more for the collector or the ol' nostalgic person who wants to get their kid a toy that they use to play with. I hope this line does well and come's out with the great accesories of past time.

So in a nutshell at $9.96 is this worth getting ....YES. The next question is do I get the whole series (5 total) ? who knows, the collector in me says "yes" but the realist says "wait" Surprised

It also comes with a GI JOE COLLECTOR'S CLUB offer for .......$36.00. Good thing I can afford this now; could you imagine all the lawn mowing I would of had to do back in the good ol' days to get that kind of money Wink Surprised

Can anyone tell me if these guys all come with different weapons? I purchased Land Adventurer yesterday, and he comes with a 9mm Luger type pistol.

Picked up all 5 of these yesterday. The Wal-Mart in Ithaca, NY didn't have any, but 30 miles away in Elmira they did. Seemed to be more of the Man Of Action than the others, but not sure if it was just displayed that way. He seemed to be the odd man out.

The displays in the store only hold 4 boxes side by side, so it was Sea, Air, Land, and the AA Adventurer...Man Of Action was knocked to the bottom shelf.

Anyway, great buy at $10 each. My first retro-style Joes I own. I'm primarily someone who collects Hot Toys, Medicom, Dragon, and bbi figures. Very happy with my purchase though. Smile

I found Man Of Action today at the Wal*Mart Super Center in Pueblo West,Co.
Cool! Very Happy

They were also doing a major reset in the toy aisles...........bodes well, methinks.

Cotswold Collectibles has inexpensive repro gear to "arm-up" your Adventure Team. Very Happy

Yes I have. Not much into pilot figures myself, but it's a nice looking figure. I only have a few boxed HT figures. Polar Mountain Striker, SWAT Female, and something else...I get a lot of HT gear, heads, and bodies though. I don't leave many figures boxed.

I think the HT male body is probably the best on the market right now. Their head sculpts are one of if not the best as well.

Cool! Right now,I'm saving up for Toy Soldier's "Mad Max" Mullen-looks like an awesome version of a real life Ranger!

The only two Hot Toys figures I have right now are the Tomcat Aviator and Vasquez from Aliens. Mr. Green
