This project will consist of various polls that you, as fans, will get to vote on to determine which Hasbro created figure best represents the character. I will be starting with the figures that have been made the most, alternating between G.I. Joe and Cobra.

Figures with more than five molds* will be broken in two polls, usually between RAH** molds and JvC*** molds, and the winner of each will be broken down into specific versions for the final vote. The winner of the final poll will become the definitive figure for that character.

*Mold- A figure must share at least half of the original parts to be part of that mold (ie- Comic Pack figures)
**RAH- Real American Hero (original sculpt molds, 1982-94)
***JvC- (G.I.) Joe vs Cobra (new sculpt molds, 2002-06)

Here are some of the guidelines that will be in place for the project:
- Polls will last around 2 days. This means that a definitive character should be decided on in no more than a week.
- No campaigning. I want every poll to as fair as possible.
- No bashing. Ultimately, this could bring up the classic "old school vs. new school" problem. If this happens, then the appropriate actions will be taken place. Ideally, I would like to see a mix of RAH and JvC figures win.
- This is a project in which polls will be used. If they do not result in what you think is right, do not complain. Polls are based on opinions, and not everyone has the same.
- Discussion WILL be allowed, but it must follow the above rules.
- Suggestions and comments are welcomed. Please, if you have ideas, let me know!

I would like to do this for everyone figure made with at least 2 versions, but I know that this will be a time consuming process.

As the polls wrap up, I will be creating a page displaying all the Definitive versions as voted on here.

**UPDATE 1: Polls will only run for 2 days. If more time is needed, then I will change that back to 3 days.
