Nice! Uber-cool backstory. Nice use of the VvV Gung Ho arms there, may have to swipe that idea for another custom. I don't know if it's just the pic, but did you replace the neck?

That is AWESOME. The colors and part choices are brilliant.

I am sure I asked you before, but did you ever get set up on GTG? I haven't been on the boards here for like, a month.

Dude, Adrien, I really love the backstory on this guy. As someone who tends to favor good "file card" writing as much as or even more than the customs themselves, I really appreciate all the connections and implications of this story. It's creepy and cool as hell.

Also, I spotted your username a couple days ago and meant to tell you, next Monday my latest column will be up at PopMatters.com, concerning the planned Watchmen movie.

A one-word summary:

"No." Smile

Thanks, gents. I'm glad you guys like the stories as well as the work on the figs. While I'm doing a fig, I'm 'getting to know him' in my mind, trying to see him/her as a child and what 'natural circumstances' bring them to the moment where I do the fig from. It may sound surprising, but throwing all the Star Wars, StarGate, Marvel, DC, and Joe universes together into one box and getting something good out is *really* easy. There's so many concepts in common that it's really just a matter of seeing how different ideas are only different due to the names and terminology used. Half the time, the story literally falls into place as I'm typing up the webpage. You guys should see the movies I get in my head as I'm thinking all this stuff up.

Yeah, anything that can be summed up by the phrase 'Watchmen movie' is just doomed from the start, imho. It needs to be at least a six-hour miniseries, preferably by HBO so it would get the quality it deserves.

I believe it; I recently gave some of Skeletor's gear to one of my (gently) customized figures, and without planning it at all, I was struck by how I could make it reasonably feasible that he had actually acquired it from Skeletor, which sounds absurd as hell, but...

Also, in addition to your username, I love your icon.
