Following General Hawk's idea...I 'balded' my firefly...here are the preliminary results.
Only problem is I killed the neck joint when pulling his head off...soooo...in combination with another head, this figure will probably become something very interesting. It's nice to be able to just set the head on top for photo reasons before i'm done with it.
I need some tan paint...lol.

Very VERY nice job.
Did you use a dremel? And what's that white gunk on his lower face? Super glue? |

| I agree, good work. However, he sort of reminds me of a pedophile minus the thick mustachio. Maybe make a custom 1978 Ford "Abductor" van. |

SO, here he is finished. One down, one to go. I figured I'd do the original piece first and then make the sigma6 suit version. What else am I supposed to do with an abundance of fireflys?

Nice.
Good Job overall.
It's neat seeing the De-Masked COBRA Firefly. I like it. _________________ Sigma Six - Currently Looking for:

| Gah! I was sooo going to do that when I get my FF and an extra one. I've got an extra Joe FF, but hadn't taken the head off yet. Wow does that look cool! That would be cool enough for some kind of exclusive and/or variant. Screw the packaging variants. |

I used super sculpey. Since it was a thin layer, I could easily boil it, etc.
You can use any other putty tho that smooths out well like super sculpey does.
If you do go with ss, id recommend taking the head off, sanding it to the rough shape, etc...then attaching the head back on before adding the sculpey. Sculpey doesn't like to move and will crack under stress (like popping a head back on.) _________________ http://www.geocities.com/shadowjin_gpow/ |
