Ever thought of Crewing your Terror Drome with Clone troopers? or using Powerteam ELite Delta force soldiers as your G.I.Joe infrantry? or having Wild Bill pilot a BBI Blackhawk?
ascide from changing weapons (every single Joe in my collection since G.I.Joe VS Cobra has been armed with a Marauder.inc weapon), have you used other genre's toys with your joes? (I for one use the Millinium falcon as a Cobra against the G.I.Joe Crusader and Defiant shuttles)
I for one would love to find an old Buck Rogers Starfighter, or a Star trek TNG Shuttle to use, or even a Matchbock Veritech! _________________ "Sometimes you have to just leap, and build your wings on your way down." |

| I have a "Little Bird" Helicopter which I'm 95% sure was BBI, that I use as Destro's personal Helicopter, with the Baroness as pilot. I'd love to get a Blackhawk to use as Iron Grenadier's air transport some time, but every time I see one, there's always something I want/need more. The Corps had a fantastic command tent out a few years ago that I wish I'd grabbed more than one of. And, of course, my entire Cobra Infantry group has been rearmed with Marauder's Inc weapons. |

Short answer: Damn skippy I do!
Long Answer: I decided to go strictly 18th scale for my humans and to bash everything I do as relating to a combo'd Joe/Marvel/DC/Star Wars/Stargate universe where everything's always been in the same universe. I'm trying to re-write as little as possible and to keep the to the source material whereever possible, so I wouldn't retcon the Falcon to be a COBRA shuttle - but I would say the SG team found a cache of Imperial ships and weapons and the Joe team is implementing the reverse-engineered copies we've made of them. Such as the white/blue Actis Starfighter that ObiWan had for like 2 seconds in ROTS is actually the SHIELD test version of that ship, in SHIELD colors. _________________ Check out my Universe Asunder customs! |

That's horrible self promoting, man.
I do somewhat. Very limited, though. I use the Annika figure, I use the Pirates of the Caribbean for dreadnoks, and I use some human looking Star Wars figures in the Joeverse. Everything else doesn't mesh. I'm pretty much 1/18 as source for everything.
Oh, and I might use Elite Forces figures here and there as well. _________________ Makes you want to taste the rainbow!

I don't "mix" too often, with the exceptions of other military-themed toys (like the aforementioned BBI and PTE stuff), and occasionally some of the 1:18 scale die-cast/model cars/motorcycles etc...when I want some background filler or some hot rides for my Dreadnoks.
Oh, and I have Destro occasionally fly around in "Sky Captain's" Warhawk...but it's just his off-time hobby. |

I've found that the PTE blackhawk needs serious tooling and bashing, as they seats are molded into the floor, and although the BBI version can seat up to 12 figures, the PTE version only seats six, with two seats totally unaccessable (cant really complain for 20 bucks, vs the BBI's 70+)
I basically cut out the seats, and glued in some loose Tomahawk seats. Ive been dying to get ahold of some of the PTE ground vehilces, but cant seem to find too many of them (maybe Marauder will start selling them)
one mix that i do is,... anyone remember these grey plastic tanks and vehicles that came out in the 80's, there was a 2 seater spaceship, and a 4 seater tank, all terrain vehicle? _________________ "Sometimes you have to just leap, and build your wings on your way down." |

Yeah, but as long as you sacrifice up a fattened calf on the third Tuesday of the odd month, with the moon in harvest, your all set...........
That or say, 'Screw it, I'm using what I got!'

I use my clone ship i got for Christmas as the Hammer Cobra holds over my Joes' heads. I also have a Battlefield Earth F-18 i use as Barrel Roll's fighter. (isn't one of his specialties fixed wing aircraft?) There's also the bbi CC A-10 i use. and my PTE delta force are my 'jihadist' terrorists, who use my new Hind. _________________ You'd be surprised how much i type on my Wii....... |

Well I am usually a purist, but the BBI planes and helicopters are freakin awesome!!! I have the "Little Bird" and the "F-18 Hornet". The "Kiowa Warrior", the "Pavehawk", the "Apache", the "Black Hawk" and the "F-16 Falcon" are all on the way. Im stoked! The "F-18 Hornet" is huge and highly detailed. I wish one of you would strip one of those down, paint it black with some cobra insignia's and work whatever other kind of voodoo you do on those customs.
I despise the figures though. They are detailed though, but they just are'nt Joe's in my opinion.
I also picked up the 1:18 die cast "Orange County Choppers" choppers today for all my son's Dreadnoks.
Besides all that, I strictly stick to Joe's. _________________ God is an absenty landlord. |

And someone should also do a custom Dreadnok Chopper using the 1:18 die cast "Orange County Choppers" "Comanche". That would be freakin sweet!
And of coarse everything from "Marauder.Inc" is untouchable. _________________ God is an absenty landlord. |

I mix toys as well-I have the Kiowa Warrior, the bbi Blackhawk($ 35 on clearance at TRU 2 Christmas's ago)a 1/18 F-104 Starfighter, and my Christmas present from my Mom last Dec-the F-18C from bbi!
That sucker took 90 minutes to free from it's cardboard/plastic womb-and as soon as it was assembled I put Battle Corps Ace in behind the stick and called it good!
I'm just hoping bbi or somebody does a French Mirage or recent Soviet MiG that I can buy for Cobra!
Truthfully,my 1/18 scale aircraft just outshine the older Joe aircraft-and I know Mom payed less for the F-18 new than a loose complete Skystriker goes for.-If only bbi would release a 1/18th Tomcat, huh? ( It's not impossible, they've announced an F-4C Phantom II for next Christmas!) _________________ I will never leave you to fend for your self,Trust me to stand behind you,I'm Your Glory Unseen

I've never been big on it....The only real exception I ever really made were these two things:
The AT-AT, and the original "troop transporter" from 1980 or so with Star Wars. I've used both those for GI Joe in the past. _________________ http://public.fotki.com/ElCaminoBilly/
