Saw it. Honestly? I completely dug the hell out of it. The movie embraces Rob Zombies filmmaking style. It's just crazy as hell. When the music hit at the begining, you knew he was about to change from a boy into the killer that he would become. The slayings were brutal and graphic ans I sat there thinking 'Rob Zombie is one effed up mother%&$er!!!'
Overall, I think the film adds to the series, rather than taking away. It's very true to the original. I think zombie said this is basically the first film but from Michael Myers perspective... which I can see.
I do have to say the acting was pretty stiff, especially by those playing the Myers family... Michael's mom and sister.
If you talk about the bad, talk about the good, too... and Malcolm MacDowell owned the film. He was great in his role, really owning it and turning in the best performance without taking over the picture. _________________ JBL is hug!!! Vamo Candiens!

There are occasions when movies do not open on Wednesdays or Fridays. These occasions are usually holidays, or when the movie is named after a particular date. _________________ "Show Thine Enemies No Mercy."
