Man, that pythonization loooks great! Nice work on repainting the ROCC. I don't think the unpainted turret is too distracting, but you could always find something cool to do with it. Maybe build a custom serpent head that fit over the turret with the gun coming out of the mouth like a snake's tongue. That could look awesome!

I got a couple more of these coming in...so I'll get a chance to try something different with the turrent. Great idea with the serpent head!!

that is a really nice custom.... Myself, I think it looks better that way than out of the box.

Thanks for the kind words.

The scale effect was accomplished by using mesh. What I used was those mesh washing machine bags - aka sweater bags, lingerie bags, infant clothes bags. You can find them in most dept. stores in the housewares dept relatively cheap.

Green base coat was put down...then lay the mesh flat on the item. Sometimes an extra set of hands comes in handy for this process - I enlisted the wife. Once the mesh is down...simply spray with spray paint (no airbrush).

It takes some patience...and believe it or not, gets easier as the mesh gets paint on it. I found the mesh gets just a tad sticky...and thus stays in those little "valleys" of the subject. I was leery on it when I started...but with the help of a case of beer and the use of my wife's hands....it worked. Laughing
