CGI wins this one. If they were in the artic the Snow Serpeant would have the advantage but anywhere else and CGI wins it by a landslide.

Where are they fighting? While a snow serpant is best matched is the arctic all he has to do is find some cover and hope he catches the crimson guard offguard. Otherwise the crimson guard takes it Crying or Very sad

Snow Serpent in a desert town? Very, very unfortunate locale. Done and done in favor of the CGI and his superior firepower...and climate survivability.

The Snow serpent is in the very antithesis of the environment he is trained to fight in. Of course, he is trained to fight and win. But so is the seegee immortal. The seegee prowls through the desert town, looking for the Snow Serpent. Eventually he sees the Snow Serpent tucked away in a cool building, his rifle pointed out a door, waiting for the CGI to clumsily run by.
The CGI lets loose a missile or two into the building along with a few rounds of smg fire. Only pieces of the Snow serpent are left. The CGI goes to grab something from his enemy to show to Cobra Commander. He walks to the building where he spotted the Snow Serpent and finished, and enters it. As he looks on the ground, he notices broken adobe, scattered equipment, and pieces of torn, charred cloth. No body, however. The CGI then hears the incoming mortar as it whistles into the building he is now in.
In the distance, a naked Snow Serpent smiles. He is trained to fight in a hostile climate, no matter where that is. He will ahve to ask the Tailor Vipers for a new uniform, however.

Dude that was awesome..... I agree with you too. The snow serpant could always remove the snow gear and have his black mask and what ever he has under the snow gear on.

Why do I suddenly get the image of the Immortal being attacked by a guy in a black mask and boxer shorts with little cobra emblems on them?

Man I really, really wanna go Snow Serpent. One of my all time favorite baddies. The cream of the EELS program. But the local and heavy firepower are too much for him. CGI.

I never bought into the "CGI" thing as being any more special than a CG. Granted, CGs are way up there in my book.. but the CGI isn't "even higher", at least not imo. So now the question for me is who is better, a Snow Serpy or a CG.. Mmmm. I gotta go with the Snow Serpy. A CG might be more intelligent & have a much greator potential to cause harm on a larger scale (covert ops, incognito, white collar, etc).. but when it comes to a straight battle field bout, I think the snow serpy (a division of the EELS iirc) will take the cake.

I'm giving this to the Snow Serpent.First,he's an EEL,the Cobra equivalent to U.S.Navy SEALs.Second,he is trained not only to survive, but DOMINATE the most hostile terrain on earth. They are awesomely motivated individuals.

AND-he'd be smart enough to dump the cold weather gear in the desert. He'd probably rub himself in spit mixed with sweat and sand to cover his skin and blend in more.....

I know the CGI's are bad dudes......in fact, this one would be pretty close.I see the Immortal tied to staying in the open terrain.....can't fire those rockets to close to a building! The Serpent would stalk him......moving from cover-to cover........and then attack from the flank, distracting the CGI by throwing a rock or something to draw a rocket launch away.........and then the Serpent would unload a mag from his Ak-47 right into the CGI.

And then he'd do it again.

It says flat-out on the filecard:

"they (CGIs) are the most formidable fighters in the Cobra Legions."

'Nuff said, particularly when the Snow Serpents' fighting in an environment he's not as well-trained in.
