So much going on... inconsistent foul calls, odd suspensions, obvious attempts to make playoff series last longer, blatant pandering to the the teams from the "big money markets"...
One bright spot: GO Jazz! Golden State kinda proved to be a talented, but incomplete team. |

I'll say this... the NBA WANTS the Spurs in the finals. I agree with Horry's suspension, I think most people do. Stoudamire's is iffy, as well as Diaw's. The NBA tends to stick to the letter of the law in suspension rulings. Unfortunately, the rules right now address leaving the bench area... bam, automatic suspension. It fails to take into account intent. Diaw and Stoudamire were headed to check on Nash, not to fight Horry or any of the Spurs.
As well, in that same game, there was an incident where a Spur fell to the ground after a dunk and landed on top of a Sun. Tim Duncan left the bench area, but failed to receive a suspension. _________________ JBL is hug!!! Vamo Candiens!

Well as a Spurs fan I would love to disagree with you but I can't. What really bothers me now is that no matter if we win or lose we will still not hear the end of it. If we win, then the NBA wanted us to win. If Phoenix wins, then they had to overcome such adverisity.
The explanation for Duncan not getting ejected was because there wasn't an altercation. I agree with that but don't know how Diaw can get suspended. Amare was questionable but Diaw shouldn't have been. |

Year after year I get less and less happy with the NBA. The nutcase refs and Stern thinking he's God gets on my nerves.
That, and, my two teams I root for always get calls against them for no real reason other then they are the Nets and Clippers! _________________ http://public.fotki.com/ElCaminoBilly/
