The GIJoe Collector's Club panel this year offered up a few surprises! First off, the Operation: Flaming MOTH vehicle set has been temporarily post-poned. The reason for the dealy, however, cuased the room to erupt in cheers. The Collector's Club will be offering the previously-cancelled DTC Wave 4 (reviewed here at JBL) through the club. The figures are essentially "ready to tool" and it is simply a matter of deciding which color changes, if any, to make. It was discussed that Outback could be released with a white tank top and that Lt. Falcon would be released in a darker green color scheme. Essentially, as long as the changes to the designs are purely cosmetic and not alterations to the tools, the figures could see release through the club store in the near future.

The second "big reveal" was the announcement of the 2008 club renewal figure-- the previously unreleased "Robot Rebellion" Cobra Commander!

There will now be two levels of the GIJoe Collector's Club-- a free online version and the current version, now dubbed "Officer level". Various club items will be price differently for the levels with reduced pricing available to the Officers.

The new 12" offerings including the "Man of China" were also discussed. A supplemental "kung-fu" set was shown which featured break-away boards and blocks, as well as martial arts uniform and multiple sashs.
