Today is Memorial Day.
It’s more than just a day off of work or a day to cook out or run out and check out the latest department store sales. It’s a day to remember those who have served our nation and to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice so that the rest of us may life in a free nation.
Today, take a moment and remember those who have fallen. If you see a soldier or a veteran, thank them for their service. While you may not think of it as a big deal, those words of appreciate may mean a lot to members of the Armed Forces past or present. Let them know you appreciate their service.
We are able to enjoy Memorial Day thanks to their efforts and their sacrifice.
